ORLANDO, Fla. – January 12, 2006 – Cleaning the home will become visibly easier with new premier cleaning tools for Beam Central Vacuum Systems.

Each of the sleek, ergonomically designed tools comes equipped with a light to help users see dust and dirt they might otherwise miss and soft bumpers to protect walls and furniture. The lighted crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery brush, and a crystal brush for cleaning fine collectibles are standard equipment with the Beam Advocate™ central vacuum hose and electric power brush. Also included is a Quick Glide floor brush. The 13-inch wide brush eliminates the need for a dust mop on hard-surface floor. It features a swivel neck for easy maneuvering. It also includes a button that retracts the bristles, removing lint, pet hair or other debris that collects on the brush.

“When used with a Beam power unit that is up to five times more powerful than a portable vacuum, these tools provide cleaning capability and convenience that are unmatched,” says John Coghlan, president of Beam Industries.

Beam also is introducing the SpinDuster™, a feather brush-like cleaning accessory perfect for cleaning in corners and other hard to clean surfaces. As the name implies, attaching the SpinDuster to the central vacuum system hose handle causes it to Spin, creating an electrostatic charge that turns the brush into a dust magnet. The SpinDuster can be used with any Beam Central Vacuum System Power Team.

Headquartered in Webster City, Iowa, Beam Industries is a division of Electrolux Home Care Products, Ltd., and is the world’s leading manufacturer and marketer of central vacuum systems.
